This program will install before also all necessary drivers for PCAN and Vector hardware. In order to repeat manually the drivers installation, please follow the next step, otherwise skip it. * Be sure to have installed CAN hardware interfaces drivers before this installation, otherwise ZEBRA Monitor could not work properly! In order to do this follow the instruction in: - PEAK-SYSTEM: CD-ROM\DiagnosticKit_CD_v2.7xxx\CAN\Peak - VECTOR: CD-ROM\DiagnosticKit_CD_v2.7xxx\CAN\Vector IMPORTANT NOTE: read carefully the installation notes of each included driver. Some interfaces are restricted to be used only in particular Operating Systems! (CancardX can't work with MS Vista) Be aware that the use of last version of drive is reccomended. * To install ZEBRA Monitor upgrades ('Upgrades' folder), if included in the CD-ROM, simply copy the upgraded executable (usually named as ZEBRAmonitor_Vxxx_Ly.exe) into the same folder of the basic installation. In the folder upgrades is present a demo version useable only to work off line without connected BMI. In the file name there is the ZMversion; the level: 0, 1semplified, the type of use Local or remote; only for remote mode the option full or light. * When ZEBRA Monitor is executed the first time, it will ask to select the target CAN hardware interface. The hardware can be changed also during the execution. * Please, never remove the files included into the following folder: \Common Files\ZEBRA Monitor. * If WinFlash application is included in this installation package, please follow the installation note in: D-ROM\DiagnosticKit_CD_v2.7xxx\WinFlash * When ZEBRA Monitor is used in remote mode, it is necessary an internet connection with a static IP and an opened port (i.e. 23480). Zebra monitor in remote mode can be in Full or Light version. The light version doesn't allow some function like: BMI reset, set manual switch off error, change BMI address-charger type, BMI's sn, update constant, download receipe, start from ZM the electric ISO test-fan test-send system enable. To perform a connection to a remote vehicle, follow the steps below: 1) Specify the vehicle identification number (usually the telephone number of the SIM inside the localizator using the international prefix 00xx...) in the system configuration dialog box of ZM. 2) Send the following SMS to the SIM inside the localizator: connect where is a valid static IP used to reach the PC where ZM is running, and is the number of the service port used to communicate with ZM, generally the 23480. *********************************************************************** FIAMM SONICK sa Via Laveggio 15 - CH 6855 STABIO - SWITZERLAND General contacts: Phone: +41 (0)91 6415311 Fax: +41 (0)91 6415395 e-mail: info@fzsonick.com
